Comfort Accommodation in Majorca East
Budget hotels Majorca are typically graded three stars and have basic comforts, with an emphasis on clean and simple. If you're watching your holiday budget in the Balearic Islands, but don't want to compromise too many facilities and amenities then look out for 3 star hotels, aparthotels and B&Bs and apartments.
Prices vary a little depending on the Balearic Island resort, and also some older Majorca hotels and aparthotels tend to be a little cheaper, but that doesn't meant they don't have the usual children's play areas, swimming pools and good buffet service. Sacrifice a few luxuries and creature comforts for cheaper price deals and you'll find basic low cost, budget hotels and b&b family accommodation such as cheap holiday Ibiza, hotel Majorca all-inclusive deals and the like offering comfortable Balearic Islands accommodation and a reasonable price.
Majorca hotels and other Balearic Islands accommodation is usually priced according to it's grade, be it 1 to 5 stars for Majorca, Ibiza and Menorca Hotel or Aparthotel accommodation or 1 to 5 keys for Majorca self-catering apartments.
Balearic Island accommodation costs do vary dependent on resort location and of course seasonal influences, prices always go up in peak summer season months, especially June to August. As a general guide cheap Majorca accommodation with a one or two star grading or no grading will usually range from 35 to 75 euros, comfortable accommodation will loosly range from 75 to 125 euros, premium accommodation with around four stars will be around 125-200 euros, and the high luxury end with 5 star ratings will be 200 plus euros. All these prices are per night, and usually include a breakfast at the very least. Majorca accommodation prices are generally a little higher than other parts of Spain.
Most Majorca resort hotels, especially the large ones over 100 beds, charge about 33-35 euros per night in low season, and 35-50 euros per night in high season. Many Majorca hotels in the resorts are also now three stars and above, as regional government in the Balearic Islands is striving to push all hotels upto three stars. It is now not allowing new hotels to start business unless they have first achieved a three star grading. High season is usually from June to September, and prices begin to drop rapidly from October when low season runs through usually to the following May. There is much variation in prices however, so shop around. Many of the Spanish chain hotels operating in Majorca offer special offer deals frequently, so if you look around you're likely to catch some of these discount deals.
