Panada ~ Puerto Pollensa - Mallorca

This traditional Mallorcan house is situated just off the road between beautiful Pollensa Town (1 km) and the beaches, many amenities and limited nightlife of Puerto Pollensa (4 km - easily reached by bus or taxi), and is ideally placed for those who don't want to use their car too much, as there is a supermarket 400m away and the shops and restaurants of Pollensa are only 10-12 min walk away.

The beaches of Cala San Vicente are also just 5 kms away. Villa Panada has a pretty flower-filled garden and private swimming pool (8m x 4m, depth 1m to 1.8m, with roman steps) at the rear of the house, as well as a magnificent outdoor BBQ/kitchen/dining area by the pool. Inside, the house is comfortably furnished in local style, with a mixture of rustic and antique furniture, colourful modern paintings, and wooden beams. The covered BBQ area by the kitchen doubles as a Summer living room and kitchen and is a perfect spot for dining or just escaping from the sun. There is an agricultural shop and garden centre next door, but be careful what you buy here, as not all plants can be brought back to the UK! Two storeys, but only the ground floor is used. A gate leads from the parking area at the front round to the back of the house and a spacious shaded terrace. Lounge/dining room with satellite TV and DVD player, two double bedrooms, one twin and a full bathroom. Separate doors from the terrace open to a further bathroom, kitchen with full cooker, fridge and microwave, utility room with washing machine. An archway leads from the covered terrace to the pool area, sun terraces and superb covered BBQ/outdoor living room. Twice weekly cleaning and towel change, linen once. Saturday changeover.
